Notre Dame vs Cal

The day started at Notre Dame with former Captain and LB Manti Te’o participating in the pregame Mass and the player walk into the stadium.  Manti spoke to the crowd and asked, “Who’s with me?”  When he spoke to the crowd in front of Touchdown Jesus, he told them, “If you want to go fast, go alone.  If you want to go far, go together.  And this team needs all of us.  It’s easy to jump on the bandwagon when everything is going right.  It’s easy to get on there when everything is going right.  But what I want to know, is who’s with me?  Who’s going to jump off that wagon when it aint’ rolling right?  Who’s going to get off that wagon and start pushing with me?”

Te’o, has been back to campus at least “three or four times.”  Today was extra special he said, because, “I have my wife and daughter with me.”  Manti was asked what makes Notre Dame special.  He said it’s the people.  It’s a family.  Te’o said that Notre Dame is, and will always be home.  He said he would give up everything that he has, with the exception of his wife and daughter, to suit up one last time.
